I just got 2 emails. One said they were reviewing my application. Another asked me to tell them when is a good time to speak with recruiters for 5-10 minutes over the next few weeks. I assume I just reply to the email for that? It also seemed a general email that was geared toward anyone who applied at AS, including non-pilot jobs.
Anyone else get these?

I've had an application on file for over two years, I'm a Seattle native, have significant SEAK experience, been to WAI and the annual local event twice where they always tell me I look very competitive, had recommendations from a current captain, FO, retired captain and had my resume walked into the chief pilot's office by a check airman. The 5-minute SR phone chat is as far as I have gone in the process, and that was in January.
Alaska just isn't hiring in big enough numbers relative to the number of people who are applying.

Spoke to several people in the know recently. Sounds like Alaska is going to hire about 60-120 in the next 7 months. The pool doesn't have that many so interviews are spooling up again.

So what do you have to do to get called? Joined SR in January. Mil IP 5k TT 3k TPIC. Been to 3 hiring events! Guess they don't like me, even though they say they like me and to expect a call.
