I finished OE at the end of January, was built a reserve line in Feb, first month bidding was March and got an OF line, chose reserve for April to get weekends off, and bid a line in May. Pretty impressive for being brand new.

That's in LAX base. My classmates in SEA are all reserve.

That's great to hear! See you in LAX, I'm waiting for that July class announcement (June if I'm lucky). I was a late January CJO.

Any scoop on the GAAG event in Anchorage on Sat? I know AS will recruit there. What to wear? How early do people line-up?

I went a couple years ago. People wanting to talk to Alaska were the only ones in suits. I went in business casual because my bag got lost. I'd go business casual or business, I think either will be acceptable. Don't know how early people line up. I waited 1-2 hours I think and I showed up about mid day. Hope that helps! Good luck!

I would suspect sometime this summer, probably July at the earliest. At the moment there are enough pilots in the current CJO pool that I suspect could fill the scheduled classes through mid Sept (if not longer). Whenever interviews should resume, those CJOs will *likely* be placed in a Oct/Nov class.

Do I need to give them a resume for it to count as an interaction? I had certain life events recently and wasn't able to type up a current resume, but I was able to take a few minutes and stops by the Aviation show in ANC yesterday.

I hope that everything is/will be alright regarding your life event.

About the interaction: What I would do is email the recruiter you met and attach your resume to the email. The next big event (I believe) that the recruiting team will be present at will be OBAP in August.

Everything is great! Truth be told we added another member to our family. Appreciate the advice.
