I canít ďtell you againĒ because I never said anything about Skywest in the first place, I never mentioned them or any other regional.

This is what gets me all riled up....
Donít get riled up man, grab a beer and chill.

So, we have no leverage! Well, let's give up then.
I didnít say squat about giving up, you did.

...here sign this crappy deal or we are going to move all the flying to Horizon. They will say that, but they won't do it. They can't do it...
Thatís a pretty big statement to gamble your job security and career on. You sir, are a man of faith, I can respect that.

Keep in mind, they donít need to be capable to do it (I personally think if they want to do it, they can, one way or another), they really just have to scare half of the pilot group + 1, thatís it.

I donít say give up, but I do realize that having no scope when negotiation time comes, is like bringing a knife to a gun fight. Granted weíll bring the biggest machete and swing it around fiercely like itís going out of style, they still have the colt at arms length, they know it.

Iím not too sure we can come into the table in 2 years with ďall the leverage we wantĒ. I commend the attitude, Iím also game for swinging for the fences and getting the pitch forks out early. But ignoring that we have no scope and acting like it makes no difference at the table is naive.

I think the AK pilots still have too many ďyes SirĒ pilots in their ranks. An AK pilot actually called me out about my orange lanyard. I guess some of us donít roll over quite as easily as others over an email threat. Maybe it was an isolated incident. He was pretty young. As of now I think mgt will have no problem with 50+1 on anything. Maybe the AK pilots will prove me wrong. Just my opinion. Flame away

I have the exact same feeling...

Thanks in advance.

Iím a fairly new FO based in SEA and seem to only get used about half the time on reserve. If you can sit reserve at home itís great in my book. I wonít be close to breaking min (79hrs) this month. But as others said, you can try and pick up from open time during your days off to make some extra.

This pnw flyer guy keeps showing up in the Delta forum dissing the c series and hyping up Boeing. It all makes sense now. He must really love those spacious, quiet and innovative 737s so much that he hates on any plane that isn't one, even at his own company

Everyone hates on FiFi and the 737 is still selling aircraft. So sorry if I hurt a few feeling on the Delta page.

Oh, yes, I have quite a bit invested in Boeing so I stick up for them. Not that they need my help. Boeing lawyers do just fine on their own.

I'll ask you, do you really believe the 737 is a better product than the Airbus and if so, why?

Uh, no hurt feelings....just trying to figure out your unrelenting obsession with defending all things Boeing and attacking everything that isn't. You might try a non Boeing sometime. You might find that you like it.

Don't get me wrong, Boeing has a good product. But the 737 has had it's day and sure isn't more comfortable than the Airbus or c series from a passenger and pilot perspective. It's a tired old design that's been recycled too many times.

Cue the attacks on Airbus and c series.
