Go to the company website and if you haven’t already, learn who the leadership is, learn the core values, be ready to answer “Why Alaska?”, bring several copies of your resume, relax, and be friendly.

I haven’t been to whatever this new format is, but I imagine it’s about the same as the meet and greets at the job fairs.

Don't over think it. All they are looking for is that initial impression. They know all about you from your resume.
Having been on the employer side of a meet and greet in the past, it actually is enormously beneficial to get that initial impression. You can usually tell within 30 seconds if someone is a going to be difficult or not.
Relax, be yourself - thats who they are looking for.

If I can impress upon you only one thing, be able to answer:
“Why Alaska?”
You’ve got to be able to believe in your answer, because HR talks to a lot of people, and they can sense if you don’t believe it yourself.
It’s the one time you have to make a sales pitch to close the deal. It wasn’t easy for me, I couldn’t sell anything to save my life.
(Just ran into a friend who just came on line. He said when he went through in early fall, there was a period they were starting a new class every week! I don’t know how long they could keep that up. Normally it’s every two weeks.)

I was appalled, but not surprised. (Potential newbies can find all they bellyaching they want here on other threads. If they want to come, I won’t shoot them down though.)
