I was there for the 08:30 Information session and there was about 50-60 people but that’s only a guess I didn’t count. When I left at 10:00 I saw another wave of people coming in but I have no idea of the actual numbers.
My previous state numbers is what the recruiter told me.

We should hear if we get an invite to the interview in “a week to 2 weeks”.
Holy hell. 2 years ago they said 5,000 apps on file.

The pool is getting shallow, and fast.

About 4 years ago the consensus amongst the 4 majors was a combined 10,000 applicants.

That was when the first Civilians being hired from the regionals had been there for 25 years. Just had a conversation with an Envoy captain end of last year. They have flow, he was going to AA this Jan. He has 12 years. Years with the regionals is headed down further.

Had a long discussion on their thread, the union officially says it will level out at 9 years. With the OTS by passing flow, my projection is 6 years. We will see where it is in a few years. Times are clearly changing.

I was at the 8:30 meet & greet. No email yet but I was told "a week or so".

Just another sign of the lack of direction.

New position bid should post around 29JAN. They only canceled an Airbus class.
