Most people traveling are vaccinated or don’t give a damn. Much different than a year ago. Local restrictions will be the only kicker.

My application status still says "Application received". A friend of mines application says "Under review". Anyone know what that means? Wish everyone applying the best!

I’m assuming they’re working their way through the apps. Mine still says “Application Received” but my date of availability is still a way off. I also got the third email.

So for those of us on the outside looking in, the comments here on scope/growth/stagnation are well taken. For SA, out of ~2900 pilots, what line number is the junior CA at any domicile, either fleet?

Junior CA was hired 7/2015 and is SEA 737, roughly 1900/2950

Also, for what it's worth, per the chief pilot the other day they received ~1500 applications, well short of what they were expecting. And not 1500 competitive applications, 1500 total. So for all we know, half of them could be CFIs just applying for the hell of it.
