Is Alaska still a good place to end up if you live and want to stay living in Seattle? I should be here in under a year through qx pathways. Only thing is I’m under 30. I enjoy living where I live and don’t want to commute.

Not following your logic. Plenty of people are getting hired at Delta with less than 1k tpic.

Come join us at Alaska, get a feel for a terrible contract and leave for Delta when they call.

Plenty of people with more than 1k TPIC don't get calls either. It certainly can't hurt, and no one really knows what the algorithm is filtering for and 1k TPIC has sort of been a benchmark to meet for a long time. I'm sure the requirements will continue to drop as majors become more desperate to fill seats.

Normally I would say do not turn jobs down that increase your pay and QOL. Alaska is the exception right now.
