Any idea if true why upgrade class was cancelled? If so how does this effect the current bid as there are already some junior people signed off in the left seat for the current bid.

I think everyone is trying to figure out if it is “rescheduled” or they plan on “cancelling” the bid. I think they are just rescheduling the class.

They need FOs on the line more than they need captains.

Wouldn't put it past our glorious leaders to fix their reserve issues by delaying upgrade classes

It’s true.

We need FOs. For now, those who started upgrade will continue upgrade, and those who haven’t will stay FOs and be delayed until later in the year (July-ish).

If only the company had an effective way to both attract prospective new FOs as well as make being a newly upgraded Cpt a decent QOL….. like an agreement… or a contract or something ….. hmmm. 🤔🤔

Default Better get ready….

Check your email. Company has ZERO intention of negotiating a contract until we go nuclear by all indications. Which means A. They can’t do math. B. They know it might be moot with a merger. C. Some combo of both.

Either, start building your war chest. I’m betting it’s about to get chilly.
