That was more or less my take as well. I don't know if you guys are pre-or post "lost decade" or not (I'm too young for 9/11 but old enough for the lost decade), but honestly stagnation is cyclical and not really any surprise for me. Kind of how the ball bounces in this industry. Maybe I'm not making enough of it, but it's just how it goes.

Even if I made more if it, I have no power to change any of it. Make hay while the sun shines so when you inevitably get stuck, you get stuck in a good place. That's the name of the game. That hasn't always been the case for me.

I licked that link and there was a recording of the meeting still up on teams. They discuss hiring being a possibility in Q4 almost right away.

If you sit throught the Q&A there are a few tidbits about aircraft deliveries and position bids mixed in with endless questions about uniform policy and beards.

 

Because that's what's most important to everyone's careers - being allowed to have pubic hair on one's face at work

Q: Can we use brightline bags?
A: I don't think that counts as a bright zipper. Stop splitting hairs. Those bags are dumb anyway. The only people that have them are the type that split hairs, so I guess it makes sense.

Q: If the hat becomes required, can we get a better one?
A: All hats are bad, so there's no such thing as a "better one." And stop giving them ideas.

I had to pick up the kids from school so I missed the second half of the Q&A, and am now too lazy to go back and listen to it. I won't remember the answer anyway. I trust there were a few more gems in there.
