Hopefully IF a couple of ANC vacancies are created AND CA upgrades making room for FOs, many will be back. However I've heard there's many dozens trying to get to ANC. PDX would be an easier commute than SFO, but it is also rather senior so highly unlikely. I'd think LAX would be an easier commute given the direct redeye year round and typically better wx/air traffic issues.

Picture, if you will, that SFO, the base that people are forced to commute to, the base that people can't wait to stop commuting to, was someday the most senior base. Would you be surprised? I would.
