Please don’t come here.. we don’t need more yes men and “ happy to have a job/better than my ****ty regional” types like yourself. OCCP can be negative at times but he’s right about how bad things are here. I’m guessing your a regional guy (no issues there I was one to) or low end cargo outfit and think AS is a great place to work.. it’s not.

Yea, it can and should be better, but to act as if it’s a slave ship? Lol!
Talk to people down in Honduras who make in a year what you make in a day, all while working MUCH harder than you ever will.
Always try to better your lot, but to say or imply your job is awful is almost the definition of disingenuous to those around the world who REALLY work for damn near nothing.
However, I expect nothing less from OCCP, one of the most miserable, negative people I’ve ever seen on this forum.
Time to quit, OCCP. You’re gonna die young if you don’t.

Okay, we're not starving on the streets. But don't forget for an instant, that there are many, many people who do much better than the best AS pilot.
Your entire philosophy is a slippery slope to lowered expectations and status quo. AS has had way too much of that.

Exactly. A horrible comparison. Yes, most airline pilots in general make decent wages and can afford to enjoy a good living. The previous post comparing us to a 3rd world country, give me a break. We are professional airline pilots that have an enormous responsibility to public safety and security, and we should be treated and compensated as such.. I’m Not disagreeing with the fact that some in other countries face unbelievable hardships and tragedy. That’s for another debate all in itself.

Why be so ****ing miserable? In all the years I worked for a Regional I didn’t hate life as much as you and your cheerleading squad of misery seem to at Alaska.
Work to improve it, but maybe you need to re-examine what true suck is before claiming your 6 figure job is horrible.
Btw, I don’t work for Alaska , but I have plenty of friends who do work there - on both sides of your house and in both seats - and NONE ***** and moan like it’s the end of the world like you folks do. They actually have a grip on reality. They want better, for sure, but they don’t obsess on the negative like you folks do.

And since you don't work for AS, you really don't have a specific idea of what's happening or about to happen. So really all you're doing is commenting on purposely exaggerated emotions on an internet forum. There will always be zealots. You gotta take the bad with the good.
