Not as much as if you spend the night every night. Even just frost and Type 1 deice would add up.

Possibly, ask at a Job fair. There were some goofy things with the application when I was getting hired.

Default Video Interview

Filled out the online application last week and just got the video interview email. What can I expect in the video interview? TMAAT? WWYD? or what?

I don't remember, but you'll read the question and have several recorded attempts if you want.

Dress for success, and make sure you have a good internet connection in a quiet place. I won't give you the questions verbatim, but be prepared to intelligently discuss our unique business model, our company values, and how you think you'll fit in here. Be honest about past FAA issues or check ride failures. Above all, relax and be yourself. They are looking for people who will be a good fit, and intend to be here long term.

Rumor going around that hiring is going to slow down. The last class was huge, and the next class is supposed to be one of the largest ever. Then minimal or no hiring until early next year.

Last year, the training department got extremely bogged down over the holidays, and fall new hires were taking 6 months to go through, with long breaks. Not very efficient. Turns out, senior instructors, APDs, and LCAs take vacation during the holidays! Go figure! It's hard to cram lots of people through with little instructor availability.

We've also had turnover in the recruitment office, one of the recruiters left the company, and they are looking for a replacement.

So bottom line, if you want to work here, and get an arbitrary rejection (computer dump), or hear nothing but crickets, be patient and keep trying. Long term, we are still looking at massive growth if 1/2 of what upper management is saying comes true.

I've recently heard 240 new hires in the next 12 months. Already confirmed classes for Sept 11th, Oct 16th, Nov 6th and Dec 11th.
