It has been very junior for FOs, but the top 2/3 of the list want to be there now and are waiting for upgrade in base, so it is just the bottom few spots that tend to rotate. Those tend to be the holding spots for guys waiting to get IWA.

Similarly, with captains, the top of the list is fairly senior, the bottom is level is mid level seniority for captains.

How is the video interview? Is it just with HR and they ask HR questions?

The last time around the questions were 10 general HR questions like the following:

What do you know about Allegiant?
When did you first hear about Allegiant?
Tell us about your flying background?
Do you have any check ride failures?
Do you have any accidents on your record?
Do you know anyone who works here?
Etc..

The questions appear and you have a short period of time (maybe 5 mins) to record your answer to the question. You have a couple a couple of attempts within this time limit to answer each question incase you mess it up.

Good luck to all that apply. Its a nice place to work.

What are they looking for in ones qualifications?

Current B787 Capt. The previous experience was Capt on 777, 738, 320 and as an FO on B744/777/320. I received an email today and that my application was rejected!

If this is a serious post, they probably think you're going to leave the month after training for one of the big 3. And I wouldn't blame them.

Edit: Hi Lugar. Glad to see you also want to work at GoJet with all that heavy time, and your former left seat at EK. Profile reported. So long nut job. I hear the FBI wants to talk to you.

Hi Ecam, this was a legimate post and the nick of Lugar wasn't me. I have been an expat since 1994 and during that time none of the US Airlines was hiring and if there was it was only a handful!

I find that it is time to return to the US and this couldn't have been a better time! I have sat on the left and the right seat of the big boys and now looking for a lifestyle.

Actually a large percentage of my legacy class was heavy drivers coming home from overseas. Pay and opportunity is better in the US now.
