Allegiant application

Attrition is still low and they want to reduce staffing numbers. No new airplane deliveries. Put it all together and I highly doubt you’ll see any hiring in 2019.

Until we find more airbus, you’re probably out of luck. If you were able to submit your app, they are probably holding on to them until hiring starts. Unsure if you’ll actually hear something back.

While you all may correct about not hiring next year I am curious where the info of “no new aircraft deliveries” comes from? They’ve mentioned 99 airframes by the end of next year many times and if you look on airfleets.net there are currently 10 serial numbered aircraft that are awaiting US registration with Allegiant.

Supposedly, FR came to a RGS early this month. He showed a screen with all of the aircraft this place is currently pursuing and have bought etc. Which ones are having trouble with. I guess there are some in the Middle East that the old owner are trying to block.
He stated they are wanting to buy upwards of 120 aircraft. I asked multiple people in that ground school and they confirmed he was there talking about this and showing the data.
Time will tell. This would be a very ideal situation to say the least. Even if they only got 1/2 of what they talked about.

Too many "supposedly" around, I'll take the investors call as an official-ish statement from company: which is 10 to 12 new planes next year. That's it.
Do the math: considering how many pilots we have on property now and the optimistic 8ish pilot/frame goal... it means AT THE END of 2019 we'll be somewhere around target staffing levels. So the number of new hires in 2019 pretty much depends on attrition and retirements only. 10-15 guys total? Wow.
Don't mean to sound like an a$$, I'm trying to use the most reliable information to come up with an educated guess of what 2019 will be like. And so far all I know is that I have to start getting comfortable here at the bottom cause I ain't moving up anytime soon.

Come on according to what has been said and showed and rumored on recurrent and such, I should be captain by now. Of an Allegiant A330.

As I said, time will tell. Regardless of major growth I’m personally still planning on leaving. This is a Pilots market and the absolute disrespect shown towards us and our CBA is unbelievable. It is truly amazing. I am not at all alone either. The home every night BS only goes so far. Attrition will be on an uptick 2019.
