Yeah. Hi. This is Scott. Yeah, if you look at the number of MD-80 shells (00:23:36), there will be some folks that will be going through training to be available for the March peak. And if you kind of back into any sort of pilot per aircraft metric back to when we had a single fleet type adjusted for the new 117 rules, you could come to a number where you're carrying $30 million to $35 million in excess labor as we grow into it over the next couple years.

Yes, but that is based on the idiotic staffing levels that the company thinks we can achieve. The hiring date truly comes down to the success of union negotiations on PBS. That is when we will know that actual staffing levels that can company can get away with.

The only way a class is happening Spring of 2019 is if they found a bunch of airplanes somewhere that haven't been announced yet. Attrition alone isn't enough.
Management is serious about the reduced staffing model. It will succeed until it fails. Then the next hiring wave begins.
I'm sticking with late 2019.
Is the union actually negotiating? All I read is the Eric update, nothing from the union and it seems like the company is imposing not negotiating.

I wasn’t that concerned about a lot of the extra curricular activities by Allegiant until today. Every other airline and almost every other stock shot up around 5%. Allegiant went down.
I hope this event is a bit of a wake up call to re-evaluate some decisions.

Stocks rise and fall and often have little to do with underlying fundamentals, however analysts have questioned G4's diversification, claiming it detracts from a company's core business, pointing to similar actions that failed other companies in the past. They've been wrong before, hopefully they're wrong again.

Dropped below $100 today. Granted, the market is down but yesterday's dismal performance while the airline sector soared (6% - 9%) concerned me too. I can't imagine shareholders being overly thrilled, having enjoyed the summer of 2015 when ALGT was climbing above $230.

I am hearing rumors of interviews restarting as well. One thing companies use is the volume of PRIA requests, I wouldn't be surprised if the G4 HR department has been hit with a bunch of them, which is often a sign of impending resignations.. then again, maybe they found new airframes. Who knows.
