Management is another story…

yes, pilots are great. but if the airline is not really an airline, and demonstrably shrinking, and uninterested in a pilot contract, im not sure I understand the logic of 'fun to fly with pilots'

I was merely responding to Rseat’s about flying with jerks and clarifying that I have rarely felt like I was flying with jerks at Allegiant. It’s definitely not the reason you choose an airline for your career.

Seems like all the guys the company furloughed during covid are leaving (19xxx) type guys. Much respect for those dude. Can't imagine staying at a company that jumped on the first opportunity they had to furlough me. The guys that got furloughed and are still here you have to wonder about.

I’m one of the 130. Left a year ago. Some of my class are still on property. Some of the ones staying make sense to me. Some don’t.

we all make the decision we find best.

Meetings with the company and mediator don’t start anytime soon… not until the end of April…if recruiters are saying contract this year it ain’t happening…look elsewhere

In case you were wondering how far away from a TA in line with the rest of the industry we are, the company just sent us an email reminder. Wondering if allegiant will still be on the raiders stadium for the super bowl next year

Why not? I hope the Raiders got the money up front. Plus the Allegiant Travel Company still needs to fill rooms in PGD at Sunseeker.

We could buy a 30 second superbowl commercial with all the assessment money.

Wish it wasn’t so but MG’s plan of “shrinking ti profitability” is playing out. Huge jump in the stock. There are not gonna be any shortcuts to our industry standard contract. For those of you thinking/wishing/praying/hoping that there’d be a mass exodus that would force MG to get an industry standard deal done quick, I’m afraid that is not gonna happen. Wall Street loves the shrink to profitability plan.

Game on pilot group. We will earn our contract the hard way.
