Not much of a sales pitch.

Let me reiterate it since you're evidently not getting it the first time around. I am not management, I'm a line pilot, middle seniority captain somewhere in the US. I don't recruit, I don't turn people away from coming here. I don't get some magical kickback by spreading "company propaganda" as many of you like to label this.

We are at a crossroads right now and you all have the same two options. Either apply and leave (unless you can't) or quit acting like the sky is falling. If it were falling, save it a DUI or other conviction, none of you would be staying no matter how senior you may be.

Lol whatever. It's going to be a costly lesson for Allegiant unfortunately.

It's highly likely that you are management or affiliated. I'm not going to put in the effort to debunk the oversized post but that one line above should make everything quite obvious to everyone. I can't imagine anyone would actually believe that will happen in the next 3 years.

I can promise you, I am not affiliated with or involved with management in the slightest way. But if that's what you need to keep telling yourself to counter factual bits, by all means be my guest. The lack of depth to the argument's here is amazing.

There is no way on gods green earth that anyone left a legacy carrier to work at allegiant. That's the dumbest thing anyone has ever said here.

That greyhound guy is a management plant and methinks he doth protest too much.

So which side of the fence to you fall on? if the sky is falling I assume that your app is out and you're working towards a class date elsewhere? Or are you just another one of the doom and gloom types that loves to stir up the pot?

Well here I am Margi! There truly must be a way on God's green earth. There are a handful of us here, all of which would be happy to share with you in detail just why life at the legacy's wasn't for us.

That's not entirely true either. I know and have talked to MANY that have left for American, FedEx, and even Delta and they regretted leaving shortly after. Call it buyers remorse or whatever, but it's happened. I'm sure the bigger paychecks and one day having some seniority will alleviate their remorse; maybe.

Also, maybe "No one" has left a legacy to come here, but plenty gave up their Legacy RECALL to remain here. Not saying that I would've necessarily have done that if I was young, but who knows, maybe I would have. Everyone has their own reasons to come or go. Not everyone is in the same disgruntled bubble of a few.

I have no doubt there are pilots that declined recall to stay at allegiant.

That all said timing is everything. I punched out of the airlines for the lost decade. Some went to allegiant and stayed because they hit the timing right. Don’t blame them for staying. It’s a great job for some. It isn’t for **** if you are in the bottom bracket of seniority. I was hired at allegiant in 2020. Sticking around would have been asinine considering how much movement there is right now at the legacies.

timing is everything. The airline marg works for is not the same airline as greyhound.

oh and I’ll take the bet on Mexico. No way that happens.

On what basis will the Mexico deal be denied? Or is this just your feeling.
