Nonetheless the IBT is absolutely putting forward every resource possible to not only get this local on its feet, but staffed with the right individuals. I've got news for you: if IBT was really putting every resource forward into helping you guys, they wouldn't have put GU in charge. He may be different than the previous regime, but he's not much better. You're not close to the contract you deserve, and with MG in charge, it's doubtful you ever will be without serious representation change. Company and the union keep dangling that carrot in front of you guys, saying things will be better in time, you'll get a good contract, etc. Those promises just never seem to pan out though.

I used to think late 2025, possibly into 2026 with the environment that was present a year ago. Now the status is indefinite. Nobody is hiring anymore and there are even furloughs in spots. Company could give two sh*** about giving us a “contract we’ll be proud of.” We’ll continue being paid less than RJ pilots for the next several years. Only prayer is getting released by the NMB, but we all know that will never happen.
