Bad comparison. Southwest and allegiant. Ones an Air Line, the other isn’t. Like saying living in Denver is the same as living in Tîjūãnã.

Lol, I know quite a few Southwest guys, and I’d say this is a slight embellishment of what they make on average. No doubt more than Allegiant, but the average senior guy isn’t making anywhere near $450k and getting 18 days off at the same time.

The point is SWAPA is also in contentious contract negotiations. They just had a picketing event this week. They still took a deal to make extra money. The fact they already get paid more should mean they would be less inclined to take a short term deal, since they don't need the money... Whatever deal SWAPA made with management was a good deal in the eyes of their union. Our EXCO decided this deal wasn't good, and I'm sure they had a good reason, and it wasn't just to spite the company.

Have you read it? It's totally concessionary. Raises below inflation and lowering reserve availability from 1200 to 0600 on the first day are just two notable turds in the punchbowl. Also no positive space commuting and airport ready reserve stands.
