yeah take the crj job.. if allegiant comes a knockin then you can leave training and go to allegiant. it's acceptable to leave training for another job. this'll get you paid sooner and experience in a 121 training environment and maybe even some flying. if allegiant doesnt call then you have a job and are building hours. they told us they expect 13 737 by the end of the year 2025. FLL is going to transition from all airbus to all 737 by the end of the year.

I got a CJO in December of 2024 and was told the company will likely want us trained by summer to utilize the new pilots in busy summer season. Any input on this is appreciated..

if anything, the cartel is hiring.
Hey bud, it's our "slow season" and we're a little fat on pilots since the company got quite a few pilots trained for the 737 and we are awaiting on further deliveries. If I had to put a date on when classes will start again, it will most likely be in the spring. Shooting for March and April. So hang in there, you'll be in class soon enough.

Well it's up to a total of five 737s on property. Boeing is really rocking it.

Please excuse my ignorance but I really can’t tell if you’re being sarcastic or not. That’s good news right?! there were previously only one or two deliveries if I’m not mistaken? Still haven’t heard anything from the recruiters about a class date and they haven’t sent out any updates.

Hiring plans are apparently being evaluated based on anticipated Boeing deliveries, or lack thereof. We hear everything from maybe April to no hiring at all in 2025. We're all in the dark; unfortunately no better news to share.

Last rumour I heard was that there are no expected new hire classes this year unless something crazy changes with the Boeing delivery schedule. They’re trying to shed Swampseeker and get it off the books before it hemorrhages even more money than it already has. They already have more than enough pilots to cover their expected block hours for 2025. Maybe 2026 will bring better news, but I’d definitely not count on being in class here this year.

Yes I'm being sarcastic about Boeing doing a good job.

Not sure where you got your info, but it's wrong. There won't be many new hires (planned as of now anyway), but they're planing at least 125 for the year as of a few days ago anyway.
