Remember that AIS we hated? Now we have Merlot and we miss AIS. Soon we will be begging for NOS charts when the company decides to "save" even more money and make up their own approach charts.
It just gets worse and worse, even when you think it can't. They must spend all day brainstorming this stuff.

I also don't think the feds would EVER approve this place to print its own charts. Do NOS charts load well on an Ipad?
I think someone just needs to remind MG all the extra gas he's burning by carrying all the volumes of paper up front...

Actually, Foreflight is very good. have it on my personal iPad. It uses NOAA charts and plates.

Foreflight is what they want. Problem is it's missing a lot of info that I've only seen on Jepps. RNAV visuals to name one.

Well the Feds seem to let this place do everything else they want. If its like our training manuals, allegiant will just photo copy the NOS charts and put "allegiant" on top. They might even find some space to throw some Blue Man Group adds on the plates for some extra revenue.

Word from the checking, I mean training, department is that Jepp is doing away with paper plates and going all digital. We're getting NOS to fill the 7 year gap until we get iPads.
