And does anyone know if the Tunica operations are still going on?

When did the application window close? Looks like I missed it thanks to being on vacation and hearing about it too late. :-(

Got a call for an interview last week.

It was totally out of the blue. I haven't updated my profile for at least 18 months.

Let's just say I have between 6000-8000 total time with 0 part 121 PIC. Flew an RJ and a bunch of other stuff for a while and now I'm right seat of an Airbus.

My friend that recommended me, recently took his recall back to AA and told me not to go to Allegiant. He was a captain making pretty good money, but said the place is a disaster and the union thing will take forever to get all straightened out. Said they are getting quite desperate these days.

I told them thanks, but no thanks. I'm happy where I'm at. If I was still at a regional....I would have been all over it though. Basically sounds like if you get an interview...It's your job.

Just my $.02

It seems that all interviews were last week and the week prior. From what I heard everyone called had internal recommendations.

Old boy network at its best. Hey G4 is a company that can make $. IF you live in base it could be a good deal. QOL: two steps backwards over the last two years.

One class will only cover attrition. My guess is that pilots in that class will leave for other airlines and more calls will go out - with very little notice.

Good flying, good people on the flight deck, operations that leave you gasping for air
