The differemce is those folks have contracts - otherwise I assure you they'd be pulling the same $h!t they're doing at Allegiant.

Allegiant pilots need to stay focused on the goal. And remember - it's just business; not personal.
Delta has over 12,000 pilots, I don't care if you get a 100% raise, someone will complain its what they do.
Is DAL's mgmt supposed to benevolently give pilots raises instead of stock buybacks? Apparently not as the mgt works for the BOD, the pilots work for the MGT. Section 6 is opening soon, and all the stock buybacks will have been documented.

AY pilots do need to keep their eye on the ball and organize and demand a safe, efficiently run airline in their first contract. The way to get rid of TDY's is to make them expensive for the company.

No one. As per usual it will be junior assigned TDY to newhires and junior captains who will receive their $1/hr per diem and get 10 or 11 days off for the month. Oh, but you can't commute home because you'll only get Tuesdays and Saturdays off.

Enjoy your home every night lifestyle newhires!

Thanks Myrtle Beach for making shared condominiums a part of the bid to get us to fly there! Never mind asking the pilots what they want or following the contract.

Just curious..... is there any other airline out there, including regionals, who have shared accomodations on overnights?

So has any else seen the anti union dribble MG put out? 4400 word contracts? Apparently he doesn't understand contracts appear "inches thick" so their easy to hold and keep in a pocket, brief case, etc. Finally, he thinks contracts take an army of lawyers to interpret; the airline CBAs I've seen are easy to read and understand. Nothing complex about that.

Does "sharing accommodations" mean you guys share a hotel room?

Not a single commuter has shared accommodations on overnights. A select few might still do it for the month you are in training but it's only a couple. Mine was single occupancy from day 1.

Unbelievable that you are guys have to do that. Just...wow.
