Thanks for all the good info guys. Are they still focusing almost exclusively on applicants with internal recs?

FLL- 1/6/2014
PIE- 1/6/2014
SFB- 1/6/2014
PGD- 1/6/2014

Hope this helps, for those who want to come to Allegiant.
I heard the jr guy awarded LAS was awarded in error. So the jr LAS guy would actually be 1/4/2013.

Don't apply here because you live anywhere other than Florida. The West coast bases of IWA and LAS are going to be here for the long haul, but they are very stagnant and you'll likely wait years before you can hold a line there. BLI and OAK may or may not stay open in 5 years.

Also, the upgrade time just released is very misleading. Many FOs could have held it but the current state of affairs here made most pass it up. If you could see the seniority list toward the bottom of the CA list you'd see whole blocks of FOs who just don't want to deal with the madness of being junior at this company.

Edit: To illustrate my point there were 12 upgrades. The most junior CA before this bid was #207 out of 415.
The most junior CA on this bid is #257.
Management mentioned the same thing about BLI in our RGS. But then he said the all the west coast bases were overstaffed, which clearly isn't the case, so I'm not sure how believable it was. You get a different answer depending on who you ask. The right hand NEVER knows what the left is doing here.

And Labbats is correct. Almost every west coast FO will only bid west coast upgrade. The rumor on this last bid was that CA could go as jr as a 2013 hire because no one wanted PGD. Didn't happen, but it was surprising to hear that.

They backfilled to replace the BLI FO's who upgraded which tends to argue against the shrinkage rumor. Bad news is it looks like 4 FO's who still want to go there. Might be a long wait for a new- hire.

What do most people do for accommodations while in training?

You get a huge email group from your class and everyone scrounges for a two+ month rental. Seemed to be working out to around 225-450 a month.

Just got called for an interview. A few questions that I have;
Anyone have a gouge of the most recent interviews?

I know that the hotel isn't provide for training, but what can one expect for pay during training? I heard it is something like $2,200.000 per month, is this right and how long can one expect this training pay?

What are the day schedules like? What are the typical start times and end times to the day trips?

How is the strike vote coming? Do you think if one was hired today that they would be safe to get off probation in time before a strike would happen?

Thanks for the info, just looking for some answers and trying to figure out what is my best move.

How long did it take you to get the phone call after you turned in your resume/app?

The pay is $500/week while in training. The class runs from 9-5, Monday to Friday. Generally have weekend off. The sim could start anywhere from a few days to a few months after ground school ends.

There are no typical schedules, but the trips start as early as 0500 and run for as long as legally possible (generally 12 hours now).

The first meeting with the mediator is coming up, so a vote is probably at least a year away, but that could change.
