After reading all the mess that seems to be going on this seems like the wrong question but would someone currently residing in FL near PIE and SFB have a better chance of getting hired if mins are met? Would they even factor that in? The fact that I could sit reserve for almost all the FL bases is intriguing.
Yes, intriguing. You should be aware that even the Florida bases will start to bear tdy’s. I would imagine if you meet the mins you’re good. I’m guessing, but I don’t think you would even need a recommendation from within.

I don't know if there is hiring right now, but I know it should be happening soon. They need to hire A LOT. Unless something has changed, it's pretty hard to get an interview without an internal recommendation.

They are currently hiring but they only open the window every so often. Lately seems like every few months. They're currently interviewing. I'll try to post if I hear it's opening.
