Most in my base held out to hold CA in base. 13 of use are locked for another year. Hoping they release us when our base transitions. It would horse 💩 to have a Jr guy/gal displace us....

As far as upgrade, on the bus, it's steadily going up, and probably will continue to do so. I'm an Aug 24, 15 hire (PIT bus) and even if I upgraded on the next bid, I wouldn't receive my first captain paycheck until almost exactly on my 2 yr anniversary plus or minus a few weeks. That's still extremely fast given the industry, but I think most will agree that it's looking most likely that growth will slow and upgrade times will slowly trend more towards the 3 to 4 yr mark (that's first available btw, some bases will be substantially longer). MD-80 first available upgrades are currently at about a year and change and I imagine will always be faster than a bus upgrade. My 2 cents, but it's fairly realistic.
read over Allegiant's quarterly and annual reports for your best future growth indications, but I can already tell you, you won't like what you see; as they're on the conservative side of practical estimates (as with any growing airline).

Growth and upgrade at Allegiant will be a direct correlation to the number of cheap used airbuses available on the market. Currently, due to the 320NEO engine problems, there are almost no good deals because airlines are holding onto their old airbuses longer than planned.

I'm new (March hire). I'm on the 80. I don't see any difference between my regional gig (ev) and Allegiant as far as maintenance goes. I haven't seen more than 4 mels on any given a/c. At ev I have seen 8+
