This is going to depend on where you want to go/fly and how old you are. There are a range of training dates for each airframe in a class, all of which are tied to a base. Seniority within the class is determined by age, which determines who picks first for training dates. Some people prefer earlier dates to get the second year payroll clock running, while others prefer later dates to finish up (usually military) commitments.

Indoc is 12 days - it starts on a Tuesday and runs until Saturday of the following week with a 2 day break on Sunday and Monday. The base visit is a half-day event independent of indoc that is scheduled a few days after your indoc ends.

I hope that's the case. I have indoc coming up and was told (through unofficial channels) to expect:
Mon : travel
Tue-Wed : intro w/spouse and drop
Thur : spouse optional
Fri: indoc day 1
Fri Night : go home
Sun: travel
Mon-Fri: indoc days 2-6
Fri Night : go home
Sun: travel
Mon-Tue: indoc days 7-8
Wed : base indoc, travel home after

Can anyone confirm if that's at all accurate?

Unless they've changed it, that's not accurate.

Day 1 starts on a Tuesday and involves Company Orientation. (No spouses)

Day 2-3 is Flight Orientation (Spouses + company dinner)

Friday starts Basic Indoc on Day 4. Saturday is also a work day.

Sun and Mon are off days.

Tuesday starts Basic Indoc Day 5 and that goes through Saturday again.

Base indoc is scheduled at a later date. About a week or two later depending on the base.

It may have changed though. If you're scheduled for indoc, they should have sent you a calendar.

Definitely make sure to bring your spouse to those days. They definitely make everyone feel welcome. It's a special event!

I've definitely been hearing that. My wife isn't big on those types of things, but I think she will at least come out for the beginning, just have to leave before the dinner due to work.

If I get official word on the indoc schedule I'll circle back so I'm not spreading bad gouge.

If she's leaving before the dinner, why go at all? The dinner is on the first day she's allowed to be a part of it.

Wednesday night is the drop and dinner. The dinner couldn't have been a better introduction to the company, it's worth missing work for!
