I heard wife is free and they put you in a nice hotel while she is still there. Unknown on exactly when you can book non-rev, but I was told they show you how to use the system on one of the first days so you can book her flight home and make your travel plans for the rest of indoc.

Ah, I'm in my isolated ORD bubble, I don't realize 320s did EWR flying now. Carry on.

Wife will be A passed(high non rev priority). No chance of getting travel benefits for anybody else by day two. Do whatever you can to get your wife to the dinner, it will be memorable. If your mom will babysit buy a ticket on American, if it's your mother in law put her on Spirit.

Recent e-mail: "non-rev travel privileges should be activated by the Friday following your first day on payroll" (i.e. first week indoc)

No. Everyone comes in from LGA and other bases in each bid, and they just released a ton of withholds in the October bid (E190) to MIA.

LGA can't keep people.

That makes sense. I had just assumed they were getting lazy and basically listing the 3 equipment options with one base a piece knowing everyone would bid to other junior bases during training.
