The SLS was the winner with nice silver pens. Haven’t been there in a year or so but hope they still do it.

The old dark purple Sheraton pens were nice because they were thin. Now they have those big fat ones that don’t fit the the plane or your shirt.

And then there’s the Aloft. They give you a cool pencil.

And I can’t believe I don’t have anything better to do this morning. 🤦🏻

What planet do you live on where this bothers you? How do you feel about hotel pens and shampoo?

I was brought up as a Boy Scout. I bet when you were a kid, your parents took the Holiday Inn embroidered bath towels.

My wife used to order large orders of custom logo'd items for a past job, cheap pens were roughly $0.10. A cursory search from hotel suppliers online show keys are under $0.15 each so even if people kept the keys and never returned them, keeping a pen is OK but a key considered stealing?

FWIW the nicer pens at some of our places can be a pretty penny $$ wise!

I don't take pens and supply airplanes anymore because I was noticing most guys getting in and immediately throwing it out or if it had a cap they'd take the pen and keep it.

Gotta love these folks who make snarky comments about a 1 cent key card, followed by something along the lines of "look how moral I am. look at me everyone. I'm better than you."

Virtue signaling I think is what they call it now.

I do not steal, I do not rob banks, I do not murder. I was taught that as a Boy Scout. I am a Christian and am taught not to do that. It is not the cost of the item, it is the principle involved.

Call it virtue signaling. Be my guest.

Only Christians are taught to be good people?
