Bid every FO position in CLT. Wait and see what happens, especially during the holidays.
That's only the 320 and the 330, correct?

How long to hold 330 FO in CLT?

The current indicators are indicating that every indication indicates CLT 330 is >15 years

I am not sure this is totally correct...the very bottom guy in CLT got in on the March MBE...

On the MBE page on APA site:

"A pilot cannot exchange into a bid status where he or she will be the most junior pilot. Thus, a mutual exchange cannot result in a new, more junior pilot in either one of the two statuses involved in the exchange".

It shows in red with an * if you are too junior to hold a position and MBE will be disregarded.

13776 is junior MBE transfer and 13778 is most junior in status on APA site it looks like (as of End of January). Now 13778 is gone for Feb and beyond. If 13776 truly was the bottom it shouldn't have been allowed. Maybe it went through while 13778 was still showing junior pilot so that guy barely snuck in before it was too late? Lucky he made it just in time I guess. He couldn't do it now.

MBE works great if you can hold the spot. More people should use it.

Can't get it through MBE unless you can actually hold the base by normal means.

There are several roads to Charlotte:

You got the 77 for top to bottom, the 85 for left to right, and the 485 that goes loopity loop.

You forgot the 277, but in your defense that really doesn't go anywhere. Actually, that could also be said for the 77 during rush hour......

Per the "Crew age per fleet" on AA pilots, the number of 320 captains in CLT turning 65 over the next five years.

2019. 7
2020. 59
2021. 44
2022. 64
2023. 63

Current active 320 captains in CLT per the APA PBS report, 572. So just under half of the current CLT 320 ca's should retire over the next five years.

I think you’re reading the chart wrong. It’s a rolling chart as of 18 feb. the 7 are 65 and have retired, the 59 will turn 65 before 18 Feb 2020 (so essentially 59 will retire in 2019). So even more will retire than you indicated.

Also there are some older FO’s That will retire as well.
