I can't edit my post above but just saw Spirit is delaying their bids by five days as well (presumably for cuts). So scratch that theory above.

your current seniority # was calculated in July 2019. The calculator does look at year end estimated seniority. So 1.5 year span. 1100 sounds right.

that’s today’s plan anyway.
They're not cancelling classes and stopping hiring. Until they chance their mind and decide to.

Point is, "the plan" can change at any planning meeting, which occur daily. New information, new stock prices, etc can change plans.

Unless the company guaranteed through a contract that the plan won't change, it certainly is possible.

lol, I took "that's today's plan anyway" to mean exactly all of that with only 4 words.

I am VERY optimistic, but plan for the worst. Your scenario seems fanciful, at best.

There IS a lot of fake news out there, which is why I read a very broad range of sources, and check when I find a story that seems manufactured. I recommend "The Guardian" and "Al Jazeera" for major media outlets, and mostly read non major media.

There are 2 calculators too...the AA one looks at December, the APA one looks at July. Kind of like there are 2 different 3XP’s that function differently, we need to keep it confusing.
