I agree. Enjoying following the discussion for the last page or two. It s drifting into politics but i hope the mods leave it alone as long as it stays civil.

Remember there are other races in this country and the one thing we have in common is, we are all getting tired of BLM. Too bad there wasn't a legit black movement all of us could get behind!

Exactly, like someone else pointed out on here the name is designed to create an emotional response. If its viewed as offensive to some then why bring it to work, especially a flight deck. They are strapping dynamite to the Swiss cheese for gods sake. But then again, can't denigrate the carefully designed name or else you're a RRRrrrr RRRuuu rRRRuuuuu RRRrrraacisst.

BLM is like NOW. Only the fringe of the black population actually believe in BLM and what they really stand for, not what they are portrayed to represent. Only the fringe of the female population believe in the NOW platform. Neither organization speaks for all black people, or all women.
My point exactly. The leadership of BLM has more to gain from the problem continuing than finding solutions. The people have to find the solutions because the politicians and leaders on all sides benefit from the status quo.

The rationalization of murdering unarmed humans is understandable, as fully coming to grips with the fact that people are being murdered on your behalf is a large internal subject to grapple with. The fact that the justifications mirror Jim Crow justifications (at least in spirit if not outright words), almost make it mildly comical.
But the many sentiments of “do what cops tell you and shut your mouth” is utterly terrifying.

The politicians are too busy pandering for votes to actually care about anyone. They claim to care, but the only thing that they are really concerned with accomplishing is securing a unquestioning block of voters, not actually implementing policies that help their constituents climb the ladder.
As far as black people supporting blm:
Most black people do not believe in defunding the police.
Most black people do not believe in the deliberate breakdown of the nuclear family.
Most black people do not believe in the violent fascist tactics used against anyone who dares to question the narrative.
Most black people do not support the rioting, looting, or the destruction of businesses and property.
Most black people do not believe in the Marxist philosophy that many of the BLM leadership hold.
