Is it the 73 or 320 that tends to go more junior in classes?

last class apparently had the 737 go more junior. But it obviously depends on what each person wants in each class.

From what I’ve seen, most will pick a base first (if it’s available) then the aircraft. If a preferred base isn’t available, a smart person picks an aircraft that will get them to their desired base (i.e. don’t pick 73 if you want PHX). Not so sure the end result favors one aircraft over the other.

With the plug bursting remark, I was referring to the fact that LAX hadn't had any 320 slots in the drops for five months. Recent class drop had two. Hopefully this will improve soon as they seem to be done shrinking the base. At least according to the latest vacancy bid.

But yeah, years until the construction is done.

LAX will probably be stagnant until we get all of our gates back. A lot of construction going on right now.
