Ed’s rambling rants and bizarre personal attacks don’t bother me as much as his bending of the truth and convenient shaping of the narrative to suit his viewpoints. His passion alone would make him a better president than Ferguson, but he comes across as completely delusional as to what power the president actually has. I think keeping Ed as MIA chair is a good place for him and us.

I don’t get this “Rob is from DFW so he’s pro-management” thing at all. If you’ve paid attention at all over the past few years, the DFW BoDs have been by far the most transparently anti-AA reps at APA. Chris despises management, absolutely clowns Propoganda Chip at every opportunity, and he trusts Rob… good enough for me.

Seems Sam is being encouraged to run for BOS Chair. We can only hope. Getting more than 50% of APAthetic APA to vote is asking too much though.

Even the most aggressive union leadership won't get anything done if the pilot group isn't engaged. I'm just as disappointed with this pilot
group's actions as anyone, but divisive language, calling everyone losers, etc, isn't a good way to get everyone pulling in the same direction, IMO.

I read his blasts and I’ve talked to guys that have worked with him. He’s not for me. Feel free to vote for him.

Rog. Sam was my first choice with Ed as second. Too bad more didn’t turn out and vote bc I think Sam would’ve been a good choice.

Having DFW locals who are known to not want to stir the pot worries me, hence while I will be voting for Ed.

That being said as long as people get out and vote I’ll be happy. The latest turnout was pretty pathetic. Nobody has an excuse to whine if they don’t get out and vote.

it may be anecdotal, but I fly with a lot of captains who are 62+, most of them said they didn’t vote because they’ll be gone by the time the new contract comes and they don’t care. Remember how old our seniority list is and take that into account. Not justifying it, just sayin

Still a sheety justification bc the company is looking at voter turnout for how engaged the pilot group is and how demanding of change they are. Can’t wait till those anchors are gone!

Had dinner with a buddy here last night. He made a pretty decent case for Ed over Baker.
