Choice 1: NO COMMUTE!
choice 2: no commute.
And choice 3: nO CoMmUtE
😂😂 but really, if you can live in base choose that one. If you don’t care to move, that makes a difference. And if it’s the big 3 you’re making a choice, I know which one most should take!
Good luck!

Sent to Review board after Pilot Interview
I had my interview with AA at the historial hangar in LGA where they were giving out CJOs on the spot. I felt that the pilot interview went very well, but at the end I was informed that I would be sent to the review board. All my documents were in order, as well as my logbooks. I only had two letters of rec and I have 3 FAA inital busts and a Oral failure in the 121. Could this be a reason as to why I was sent there or is this their nice way of saying "thanks but no thanks"

Sure, the 121 blemish isn’t stellar but the way I look at it is like this. You obviously stood out enough for the invite to interview, and didn’t get a TBNT on the spot. I was told review board is typically Thursday, and I received the good news at end of business day on the Thursday following my interview. Hopefully yours is successful!

how much total time? Whats your background? In general no, the review board is absolutely not the kiss of death. Seemingly the vast majority sent to it get hired. They are just doing due diligence. With 4 failures, that seems justified. A good interview and track record since those failures would make you a good candidate

Not everyone gets the CJO on the spot. Beats me, and everyone that knows wouldn't say, what the decider is. Maybe it changes week to week? Buddy's son interviewed with a group back in 2019 and something like 4-6 (?) of them were asked if they could hang around afterwards. Later they realized they were asked to hang around because they were given CJO's on the spot.
