I’m bearish on the economy as well, but I’m willing to hold out for a great deal. If we go bankrupt everything is reset anyways, regardless of a deal we sign next month. May as well keep our current rates, let everybody else ratify their raises, have new hires bail for Delta and UAL and then we’ll have leverage, kind of exactly what happened in ‘17.
Maybe I've just been f-ed over by this industry too many times. |

I don't see our prospects improving if APA doesn't get this done in the next 6-8 weeks. Third quarter financials are going to be interesting. Worst year for the S&P 500 since 1930 is nothing to joke about. All of this, while even ALPA claims that there isn't a pilot shortage.

A319 has 80 on order, 1,573 delivered. A220 has 551 on order, 223 delivered. The seat counts and number on order seems to back up my statement. I stand by it. Don't see a reason to get 220s over 10 seat difference. |

managements wants and needs a TA. Staffing is already behind. It will get worse if no TA. But if you listen to the doom and gloomers then we are going Chapter 7 and should sign whatever peanuts AA is throwing our way.

I honestly cannot fathom what legitimate reason the NC has to divulge all this info about AIPs and current pay positions of the company. This is a veiled attempt to manage expectations of whatever is actually coming. This is a 100% BS FUBAR Mickey Mouse show
