That is quit a jump.

I'm not nearly as familiar with the 175, but the CRJ 900 on a mainline list would have at least another dozen seats on it, minimum. Currently that AC is configured with 12 business class seats (four more than a 319), a HUGE gap to the first MCE, and probably more MCE than it needs.

I don't see our prospects improving if APA doesn't get this done in the next 6-8 weeks. Third quarter financials are going to be interesting. Worst year for the S&P 500 since 1930 is nothing to joke about. All of this, while even ALPA claims that there isn't a pilot shortage.

Maybe I've just been f-ed over by this industry too many times.

Different eFFing World. Always been that way, cause we (APA) either never had to here or we can't see past our awesomeness.

(As reference,
AA A320 is 150 seat,
AA B737-800 is 160 seat)

Delta A220-100 is 109 seat, it kind of splits the difference.

(Delta A220-300 is 140 seat.)

A319 has 80 on order, 1,573 delivered.
A220 has 551 on order, 223 delivered.

The seat counts and number on order seems to back up my statement. I stand by it.

AA737-800 and MAX have a capacity of 172. Reconfigured from 160 a few years ago.

Don't see a reason to get 220s over 10 seat difference.

One of the recent townhalls the PHL Chair mentioned that upper management wants a CBA before year end. Otherwise no bonuses.

These negotiation update emails was a lot more detailed than the previous updates. I have a feeling they are preparing for a TA announcement.n

managements wants and needs a TA. Staffing is already behind. It will get worse if no TA. But if you listen to the doom and gloomers then we are going Chapter 7 and should sign whatever peanuts AA is throwing our way.

I honestly cannot fathom what legitimate reason the NC has to divulge all this info about AIPs and current pay positions of the company. This is a veiled attempt to manage expectations of whatever is actually coming. This is a 100% BS FUBAR Mickey Mouse show

Or maybe,….. it’s APA’s way of saying to all of those eager beavers, who are continuously chomping at the bit to pick up open time, premium trips, and volunteering for Check Airman duties and sim-fill slots, and bail out management at every turn for the sake of pocketing an extra buck,……. to STOP IT!!!,….. if you ever want a new contract!!!!

Maybe??? Yeah,…… maybe.
