Hahaha! Now, if you add the 'get out of my seat' attitude; they should all be making at least premium pay.

Does the MBE require the same equipment including D or I designation? In other words, if you get 320 D, can you swap for 320 I via the MBE?

no it does not. Good way to get lost in the system waiting for your various quals

22 March class options

Is it pretty common for a young guy to get stuck on the 737? I’m 27 and will most likely be one or the younger new hires in class. I don’t mind the 737 I’m just trying to get back to PHX. I’m still trying to decide between SWA and AA. If anyone has input/advice, much appreciated.

Yes, usually the last slots are 737 slots. However it depends on a lot of factors. For example the bid you are replying to is the most lopsided Airbus bid I have ever seen, which is very bad for people that want to get to an 737 only base.

Only likely to get stuck with 737 if there are a lot of LGA737. I think it's typical that more senior in your class would bid 737 in any base other than LGA once the non-LGA320 spots are gone. Also people who want MIA often bid for 737 so they can do the island flying. Our class had very few 737 spots and they were gone by the time we got to the bottom 15ish.

In general, our class went:
1. Non-LGA320
2. Non-LGA737
3. LGA 737 (People wanting MIA, ORD, BOS)
4. LGA 320

Bottom of the list often Lga 320 awards. Next class has 32 of them….

So LGA is just THAT bad, huh?

Trying to prepare myself to make an informed Mar 29 bid.
I’m 54 so with any luck I’ll have lots to choose from.
