Going around the union to negotiate directly with the pilots? This is the same management team that stalled negotiations the last 4 years until Ed forced his hand. This message should be taken with a huge grain of salt until the ink dries.

I agree that Ed is doing a good job. I don’t agree that this is a negotiation tactic by management.

As much as I enjoy the generational banter (and me mostly making fun of my own gen), I'm gonna miss the older crowd that is retiring this decade. We need their experience, especially in matters of labor relations and history. I'm worried with a surge in pilots on quick paths to legacies that they (we) are not equipped to recognize the tactics we are seeing now and will see in the future.
