Yikes. I legitimately feel bad for you if you believe that. Shows a lot about who you are. That’s the type of thinking that has us settled into a bankruptcy era contract with no end in sight.

Nothing to do with Ed or Sam. How did sam even come into this thread? My apologies for not being clearer, what I meant was you believing this isn’t a union busting negotiating tactic by Isom. Let the negotiators do their work and when a TA is ready I’m more than willing to vote yes on something that I deem worthy. Until then, I don’t want to be hearing from anyone in management, leaking info on the contents of a possible deal in hopes that we will publicly discuss what will get AA their 51% yes vote. THAT is a what Isom is doing and it is not only blatantly obvious, but negotiating in bad faith.

I mean just look at the obvious here and who he is targeting. He throws numbers out there in terms of how much someone at the top of the pay scale will make. He’s trying to brainwash the old guys that have a couple years left to vote yes (no matter what) to get this deal done now. The guys that are near retirement don’t care about the work rules or the future of the AA pilot QOL, all they want is to make more money before they hit 65. I think getting the Delta pay rates are great, but work rules are important as well. Definitely don’t settle for just one of those things.
