XLR delayed due to European regulators (very stringent) wanting the belly tank beefed up more in case of gear up landing.

That has already been addressed. Although it will probably be delayed a little bit, the XLR's should start arriving in less than 18 months.

The 737 Max are still being delivered and AA took delivery of one last week.

You are off probation once you hit 400 hours and have your recurrent training (or a year, whichever comes first). No reason that someone should upgrade in less than that anyways.

30 more 78’s additional, not for replacement, in the next 4 years.

We are gonna see a huge move in the WB FO along with all the retirements.

I guess WB FO will go waaay more junior than currently.

It's pretty black and white. I'm just quoting the contract.

Any idea how many pilots it takes to properly staff a 787 at AA? From what I remember, when I was with F9, they said it takes about 14-16 pilots per aircraft. Granted that was an A320/321. They also did not fly any routes that required augmented crews.

240 Captains
475 First Officers
for 30 additional 787.

Roughly 23.8 pilots per widebody.

Probably a little fatter because of so many retiring.

Different subject but I noticed 339 pilots underage 30. Still opportunity to be senior a long time at AA.
