Just so we're clear, neither entity (AA or US) has presented a POR to the court. AA has an exclusivity period running through 9/28 absence an extension and Mr Parker has only produced promises written in the clouds to date. I'm sure he will present an alternate POR that will be considered alongside AA's plan.
At that point and only then will we all have something to compare. Everything to this point has been conjecture, my positions included.
What I want to see, and haven't to date is a POR that postions AA for long-term viability and profitability exiting the restructuring process.
You're now free to return to name-calling.
Cheers

Is that all the rest of "us" are doing ?
You make it sound like everyone else's opinions here are simply the ramblings of misguided children, while you (condescendingly) are the paternalistic voice of reason.

Agreed with the above. However, we also must recognize that exclusivity period (currently a conditional extension) can be petitioned to be terminated by a majority of the creditors (5 of 9). That means 2 creditors aside from the unions, so the 9/28 date isn't without jeopardy.
I haven't seen that either. So far, AMR has not produced one and so it would appear they have no upper hand. All we have to go on is past and present statements and actions. The most recent statement to the press described Eagle taking over a large percentage of AA's remaining domestic flying at ORD with larger RJ's. Adding the fact Frank Lorenzo's former attorney has been retained, I think I can see where we're headed though.

My apologies to all for pulling this thread off message. I do think an employee expressing this kind of anger is a danger to himself and his fellow employees. There's no place for this in the environment we work in. Could any of us imagine a flight with a similar personality at either set of controls.

A bit of an overstatment, don't you think ?
As someone who throws plenty of "jabs" himself, a bit on the hypocritical side as well.

I think there's plenty of people with this type of anger, just not making videos and yes, that's scary. The question then is, how does a company get that dysfunctional ?
I didn't happen overnight.
Ahh yes, a ruthless lack of compassion we've seen elsewhere. It must be all his fault, eh ?

Not the most articulate message, but still well recieved. No one can argue with his passion. Bankruptcy hurts, when management assumes such an arrogant hand, we all feel a little abused.
