At DL- Whales have remained based in dtw, but deployment has changed some.

Narrowbody airbuses have been reallocated to shorter haul routes while 737NGs (lower cost for long legs) have taken over the transcons that they used to do.

A330s have been sent more and more to south america to take advantage of the cargo hauling capability.

DAL carries 160 million pax with 72,000 employees. AA/LCC carries 140 million with 125,000 employees. Do the math.

Yeah hopefully AA and US will successfully outsource as much as DL has.

This is the group the west has had to fight since day one. Glad the rest of you can see who they are. The ual guys got their lesson in 2000.

Trying to find sympathy for YOUR lost cause will not save AOL from the inevitable..See if you can get a UA or DA pilot to send you a check if and when you're ever furloughed....
