The two worst sources of rumors are:

1) The Training Dept.

2) The FAA inspector on your jump seat.

However, I fully believe the part about the E-190's. The majority of US pilots apparently didn't see that little land mine planted in the MOU when they voted "Yes".

They must have blinded by those swell new pay rates.
I agree with you on the rumor source.

On the 190s, that did give me pause. The fact that they had to be shared with AA and that we have so many other aircraft on order tempered my concern. We'll see. It's the size of the F100 that both US and AA flew, but got paid a whole heck of a lot better.

10 were leased to RAH, 5 have been returned.

US 190's currently don't fly to DEN. Were you talking about a RAH190?

frontier has been sold and republic flys those 190s for them as well as some casino charters. I doubt they want to keep them for much longer.

More heavy rumors....

Possible 777LRs from Air India to be placed on new routes to JHB, DXB, HKG etc.

This is about to get really interesting!

How will this work? Will American crews staff PHL 777 flying or would US crews?

It was halfway down the runway as we were taxiing (I was a passenger), so yes probably an RAH...forgot they still had E190's.
