The past 3 months I've been used almost every single day.
There are more days that not where every reserve is used right down to the last short call.

When short call guys get 50-60 hours a month that's not a good sign.

I'm CLT 737 S-Reserve and I'm averaging about 25 hours per month. I generally fly 5-6 days out of the month. Sounds like it is a different story on the 320.

Is there any change to either AA reserve or US reserve, for better or worse, with the MOU? Are pay rates about the only thing that change?

As it stands, the AA Green Book forms the backbone of the JCBA after the merger closes. Elements of it (including scheduling and reserve) will take a while to implement, and reserve rules are reportedly high on the list of things that APA and USAPA want to address as part of JCBA negotiations.

In the short term, not much changes but pay. Over time, a lot probably will.

Questions: do you have long call and how long is it? Do you use flica and does it apply to reserves as well?

There is no long call at American. US Airways currently has long call; 9 hours.

US Airways long call reserve goes away. Everyone will be on Reserve, no short or long. Call out is "reasonable driving time", which most say is around 3 hours.

Most seem to think that not much will change among the three scheduling systems at the POR. For my sake I hope that's true. Long call has made my job a joy.

I agree. I dont think anything will change at POR, but long term the MOU doesn't outline any sort of Long Call Reserve.

No it doesn't, with any luck a JCBA will take care of it. Fingers crossed.
