Flow-thru's get a FedEx letter. Perhaps it indicates the difference between grudging acceptance and joyous welcome ?

Retiring military next year and hope to jump to the majors. I'm going to OBAP in August. This will be my first career fair. I am treating everything about this as a real-deal interview, but I am looking for some feedback from folks on the kind of interactions they have had with the HR reps in attendance. Do they throw TMAAT questions at you, or is it just "tell us about yourself" and "why do you want to work here" kind of stuff?
Thanks much.

I got the Fedex on Monday. May 6 as well for me.
No phone call from Capt. Hale? What gives? I guess they know not to waste the sunshine. After 16 years Eagle I'll probably be like a survivor crawling out of my bunker after a nuclear blast. Rubbing my eyes and stumbling around...
"Too many nice people....positive atmosphere....being treated like an adult... HELP!"
The grapevine says DFW S80 and LGA 320 indefinitely. No current FOs bidding S80. After 10 years of vertical tapes I guess I will be back to round dials that go around and around! And eighteen easy steps to start an APU!
Just kidding... It'll be great. Looking forward to meeting some new friends.

Ha, congrats sir. You are more right than you know. It was funny the first few days: Day 1, Eagles very skeptical. Day 2, after the welcome dinner, smiling and thinking "that was really cool, maybe it IS different here". Day 3 and I think most of us were convinced. Of course it's easy to drink the Kool-Aid at this point, but I have high hopes for the future. Eagle and AA are definitely more dissimilar in many ways than I had imagined/assumed.
They are withholding on the S80, those releases will eventually create more movement, and the new vacancy has another 15 DFW FO slots as well. Having flown/enjoyed the 737 it's very tempting to bid to that - but I think S80 will be a bit like an escalator the next few years, so hop on and enjoy the ride
