Holiday slowdown and backlogs. Hang in there. They said 13000 apps in system.

1500+ S80 pilots. Company's already struggling with training crunch.
How soon would the 81 seaters come on line? How many, how soon?
Company's making money with high load factors.
As oil prices drop the S80's become less inefficient vs. the newer jets from a total cost perspective.
I wouldn't lose sleep over the S80's suddenly being parked.

AA message at bottom of profile tab
I don't know of I'm being paranoid or if this was a recent change. The message at the bottom of the profile tab says "Please check all sections of your profile for accuracy". Is this just a generic message that's on everyone's app?
Again, this can just be a function of being afraid of getting the 'fix it' email.
Thanks!

Be prepared for MIA Airbus slots. Manning said FO's aren't bidding it for several reasons.
So far there are 26 FO's with MIA AB/I jobs. Newhires are 22 of them and some of them havn't even started training. About 10-20 more expected by March. Which means at least half of the newhires awaiting MIA AB FO/I training will be lineholders by March/April. Nice way to start your career.

Why would a 737 lineholder take a two year lockin? For trips of an unknown quality?
Why would guys bid training over the holidays if they don't have to?
The trips so far are nothing to brag about. So they probably can hold nicer trips on the 737.
If they can hold a line on the 737 they can probably hold a line on the 757/767. Why lock yourself out of the 757/767 for two years when you're about to hold a line on it?
Why bid the AB and take the 2 yr lock in when they can bid it in a couple of months when they see trips they want to fly?
When better trips start showing up, and guys realize how junior it is (newhires are as high as #3 of 25 on the airplane!) local 737 guys might start bidding it. 757/767 newhires should be lineholders at about the one year mark(early next year). They'll have to figure out if they want to be junior 757/767 FO's ($ and longer trips) or pretty senior AB FO's.

S80's are already being replaced in the next 4 years. Scope ask was for 5 seats (76 to 81).
