I think they can only do 6 190's a month can't they? Either that or 12. It's a pretty low number.

Default LCR

Which is shorter to LCR right now: 190s-PHL or 737/320-LGA? Thanks.

Typically it's the 190 by a long shot. However, if they keep sending guys to LGA might be just as quick there on bus/73.

I thought it was six per class. It's pretty Lowe though with just the one sim.

Is the E-190 pay going to remain so much lower then anything else? Really sucks for the young guys in class.

It's all the same pay during year one and you'd have an opportunity to bid to a group 2 airplane before year 2 pay kicks in. Or alternately, they withhold you and you get group 2 pay while holding better schedules on the 190.

You'd think with the training costs because of everyone bidding off that airplane and the fact that there are only 20 of them would compel the company to raise that pay so it's not an automatic that people will bid away. However, maybe they have some big plan to add more group 1 planes down the road and they want to keep the pay low.

Lucky nailed it. It's the best first year plane as long as Philly is an ok commute.

Thanks I didn't know about the getting group 2 pay even if you get stuck on the 190 for some reason.

One of the good things since the oct 1 transition is the new hire seat lock went from a year to 6 months and we have bids every month. On the old systems you could miss second year pay for a few months if you hit the bid wrong when your seat lock expired.
