Send an email to the help page. I did this and they were able to see my two recs. now they are showing up at the bottom of the references page

Not doubting this...but where does it say the window is closed?
Take note. It isn't on the usual AA careers website.

Sorry. Somehow unsubscribed from thread…DOH!

Thanks Sledy! I know 10 American pilots, from military, but only have 3 listed on my app. Not that the other 7 wouldn't recommend me. Just picked the 3 that I flew with the most and thought the others might have someone else they'd like to sponsor.

Ima, I received the email yesterday afternoon. My wife and I are ecstatic.

I was Capt on a B-29 over Hiroshima. However, the email said I need more night PIC XC.

So your age, as it relates to airline hiring, is a concern for you too.

I would think that any airline would want a wide range of ages so not to have the entire airline retiring all at once. Again...

This was not true in the 80's and early 90's, when the legacies sought out the Kit Darby average new hire age of 28

this is all biting them in the A now as huge groups are hitting retirement at same time

the only airline to intentionally not do this was SWA
