That's why you wear a London Fog in the Winter. I know, I'm old fashioned!

Maybe you are, but the classics never go out of style.

Poor assumption on your part. I have flown A LOT in the north. I would be an idiot to try flying up north in -10 degree weather with just a blazer on. That's what overcoats are for. I find a long wool or well lined overcoat to be warmer than a leather jacket.
I like leather jackets. Wear one often, just not when it's time to look like an airline pilot.
I do respect your opinion, everyone has their own ideas on what's fashionable but my vote would be to ditch the leather jackets, I think they are a joke. We ain't dusting crops here!

I'm more for comfort than looks, but if you're going for style, then I'd rather sport a leather jacket than one of those dumb looking trench coats that you're referring to.

I do like the current leather jacket, even though I don't own one. And I have heard from a few random passengers, they like the look. It's aviation classic. Nothing wrong with avoiding the Ralph Cramden bus driver look.

"Dated" yet nearly every business passenger in the northeast wearing one. Go figure.

*however, some guys should get their one-size fits all overcoat to a tailor.

Are we northeast businessmen? No. I'm also not a bus or limo driver. I don't want to look like them. I would rather look like a pilot. The classic pilot look is khaki pants, boots, and leather jacket.

About 70 years ago that was the look, and it was proper for an open cockpit. It's amazing the lengths some people will go to look like crap and antagonize the ones who would like not to.

Keep wearing your leather. It doesn't bother me, still trying to figure out why properly dressed people bother you.

I see a large discrepancy between the overcoats available at department stores/tailors and what are available to us from our uniform vendor, both in quality and style.
