Make it easy. Protect the AA pilots career progession. Protect the US East progression, and protect the West career progression.
Call it done.......
What are the progressions? Really haven't looked at it....BUT...
Pretty obvious most AA guys are expect to fly widebody for some if not most of the career.
US guys are expected (depending on age and hire date) to have a taste if not a bit of years on a wide body. '99 hires are holding 330 f/o now. and vacancies, due to commute issues or less desirable schedule issues, on the 767. New hires on that aircraft.
do I expect to fly a 777? NOPE......expect to fly a 330 or 350, Yup...expect about 10 yrs of that. Will it happen? Probably not. Might get a few years in the 330 or 350 seat, with everything going on.l ]
the west, with their NIC or die diatribe, expect all to be capt. yesterday. With that would come wide body capt for every west f/o for 10+ yrs. realistic? Uhmmm..no....

I heard that its gonna be a staple job. If so even their most senior pilot might not be able to do it.

The only way a "staple job" will likely happen is if the arbitration formulates that. I can't see that occurring or APA advocating that. Who's telling you someone is going to stapling someone else ?

The gall YOU have. Airplanes don't generate revenue, hubs do.
The one you brought to the merger doesn't support widebodies.
You had none, no expectation of ever flying one yet demand a job from someone who did have all those expectations.
Take note APA.

It will not be a staple job.
The West pilots will either receive Nic or they, along with everyone else, will receive something similar to United's "X" number of pilot categories subordered with a rated ratio of LOS and relative seniority. I don't know what the ratio will be... 50%/50%?
